Scottish LEZs never charge a daily fee. No daily charge. Non-compliant entry triggers a £60 penalty (halved if paid within 14 days, doubling for each repeat offence up to £480 for cars/vans and £960 for HGVs/coaches).

Greater Manchester — Cancelled — non-charging
The charging Clean Air Zone signed in 2022 was scrapped. Greater Manchester now runs an investment-led, non-charging plan, so no daily charge applies anywhere in the region as of 2026.
Clean Air Greater ManchesterLeicester — No charging zone
Leicester has never operated a charging Clean Air Zone. The city works to its Air Quality Action Plan 2025–2030 and a voluntary bus-operator agreement, so no daily charge applies to vans or HGVs as of 2026.

ULEZ covers all London boroughs up to (but not including) the M25. The separate LEZ for vehicles over 3.5T covers almost all of Greater London, 24/7.

Figures are taken from gov.uk, Transport for London and each council's own scheme pages. Always confirm the exact boundary and your vehicle's compliance on the official page before you travel.
September 2026 — Birmingham re-checked against the council's Brum Breathes scheme pages and the 2021 Charging Order: £8/day cars, taxis and LGVs (all van sizes), £50/day HGVs and coaches — unchanged. Official link moved to brumbreathes.co.uk. Leicester confirmed as having no charging zone.
